iPhone maker Apple on Tuesday launched its first Apple Store in India. Apple CEO Tim Cook inaugurated India's first Apple Store at Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai. Inaugurated by CEO Tim Cook, Apple's first retail store in India opened its doors to customers. The store is spread over an area of 20,000 sq.ft. The design of the Apple Store is sleek and energy-efficient. The Apple Store has been designed around renewable energy. That is, it runs completely on renewable energy. There is minimal use of lighting in the store.

 

First Apple Store opened after 25 years

The Apple Store is open at a time when Apple is completing 25 years in India. After the BKC location, there will be another Apple Store in Delhi's Saket on Thursday. Apple has big plans for India, including a strong app developer ecosystem, dedication to sustainability, community programs across multiple locations, and local manufacturing. Apple is very excited about the Indian market. This is the reason that Apple CEO Tim Cook had come to India a day earlier for the launch of the first Apple Store.

 

Apple CEO opens doors for customers

India's first Apple Store was inaugurated by the company's CEO Tim Cook in a new style. Tim opened the store door to welcome customers. Let us tell you that Apple introduced Macintosh for the first time in India in 1984 and now after 25 years the first Apple Store has been opened in Apple BKC, Mumbai. Apple CEO Tim Cook said, "It's been a long journey, I'm glad Apple is opening its store in India."

 

How is the design of the Apple Store?

The Apple Store has been designed around renewable energy. That is, it runs completely on renewable energy. Glass has been used extensively in the Apple Store, which greatly reduces the lack of artificial light. There is minimal use of lighting in the store. At the same time, 4.50 lakh timber elements have been used in the store.
