Army Chief said: Only trailer of war on Sino-Pak border, the battlefield will have to be prepared for future

Army Chief General MM Naravane said on Thursday that right now we are only watching the trailer of the war on the Sino-Pak border. In the time of information systems, this war is being fought through cyberspace, networks. We have to prepare the battlefield for the future on this basis. The army chief was speaking in an online seminar.

 

On the challenges arising from Pakistan and China, he said that India is watching the trailer of future conflicts on the borders. Opponent countries will continue to make efforts to achieve their strategic goals. He also did not rule out the possibility of a major war in the future. In such a situation, there is a need to deploy capable forces equipped with modern technology equipment on the northern border.

 

 

Underlining the need for a proxy war

Without naming China and Pakistan, the army chief said disputed borders with nuclear-capable neighbors and the sponsored proxy war on them underscored the need for security mechanisms and resources. In the age of information systems, these trailers are coming out in the form of networks, cyberspace. Through these, conspiracy is being hatched on unstable and active borders.

 

Need to imagine the battlefield of tomorrow

General Naravane said that, if we look around us, we will get a sense of reality. Based on this reality we have to prepare for tomorrow's war. We have to design the battlefield of the future based on these trailers.

The Army Chief held an important meeting with the top officers and all the commanders of the Indian Army. The meeting reviewed the recent changes on the India-China border. The Northern and Eastern Command also participated in the meeting. The standoff on the India-China and India-Pakistan border is increasing day by day. In such a situation, the army chief is emphasizing preparing the upcoming military strategy on these borders.
