Pakistan captain Babar Azam turned 28 on Saturday. He celebrated his birthday in Australia with Team India's captain Rohit Sharma and 15 captains of the world gathered for the T20 World Cup. Earlier, Rohit was also seen talking with Babar Azam. The International Cricket Council (ICC) and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) have shared its video and photo. Kane Williamson, Aaron Finch, Shakib Al Hasan, and Jos Buttler were also present during this.

After this, a special cake with pitch and stumps was brought for Babar Azam. The T20 World Cup is to start on 16 October. All the teams have reached Australia. Babar Azam belongs to the Punjab province of Pakistan. He was born on 15 October 1994. He is the only batsman in the world who is in the top three of the ICC rankings in all three formats of cricket. He is ranked number one in ODIs, while third in T20s and Tests. He plays in Pakistan domestic cricket from Central Punjab and is part of the Karachi Kings team in the Pakistan Super League. He is one of the successful captains of Pakistan in T20. Now under his captaincy, Pakistan has won 34 matches.

 

Runs scored in Tests at an average of 47

Talking about Babar Azam's career, his career has been very good so far. He has so far scored 3,122 runs in 42 matches at an average of 47.3 in Tests. Talking about his ODI career, he has scored 4,664 runs in 92 matches at an average of 59.79, while in 92 matches of T20Is he has scored 3,231 runs at an average of 43.66.

 

Babar has broken many records of Virat

Babar Azam is compared to former India captain Virat Kohli. He has surpassed Virat Kohli as well as equaling many records.
