
The Indian IPO market has regained strong momentum, with 245 companies filing their Draft Red Herring Prospectuses (DRHPs) with market regulator SEBI. According to the latest Equirus Equity Capital Markets Tracker – June 2026, 175 companies have already received SEBI approval, creating a strong pipeline of public issues that could offer investors several new opportunities over the coming months.
175 Companies Receive SEBI Approval
Out of the 245 companies that have submitted IPO documents:
175 companies have received SEBI's observations (approval).
70 companies are still awaiting regulatory clearance.
Among the approved companies:
39 approvals will expire by September 2026.
45 approvals remain valid until December 2026.
The remaining 91 approvals will expire after that period if IPOs are not launched.
India's IPO Market Remains Strong
Despite global economic uncertainties, India's primary market continues to remain resilient.
The report attributes the strong IPO pipeline to:
Consistent participation by domestic investors.
Rising investor confidence.
A large number of companies planning to raise capital.
Improved market stability after easing geopolitical tensions.
According to Equirus, FY 2025-26 has emerged as the strongest IPO year of the last three financial years.
IPO Activity Picked Up After June
IPO launches accelerated in June 2026 following improved global sentiment after the US-Iran ceasefire, which boosted investor confidence.
Although activity remains below the record pace seen in September 2025, when 25 IPOs hit the market, companies are once again actively preparing for listings.
