The Election Commission will announce the dates for the assembly elections to be held in the North-Eastern states today. According to the news agency ANI, the Election Commission will announce the date of assembly elections to be held in Tripura, Meghalaya, and Nagaland today.

 

The press conference will be held at 2:30 pm

The term of the assembly is ending in March 2023.

It is noteworthy that the tenure of the Legislative Assemblies in all three states of the Northeast is ending in March 2023. The term of the Legislative Assembly ends on March 12 in Nagaland, March 15 in Meghalaya, and March 22 in Tripura.
