Atiq Ahmed: Police took the shooters of Mafia Atiq and Ashraf from Pratapgarh Jail to Prayagraj

Atiq Ahmed Shooters Lavlesh Tiwari, Sunny Singh, and Arun Maurya, the three shooters accused of murdering mafia Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf, were taken to Prayagraj under tight security for production on Wednesday morning. Prayagraj police had reached here for this. At around 8:45, the Prayagraj police came out with all three accused.

 

All of them were admitted to Pratapgarh Jail from Naini Central Jail on Monday. Atiq and Ashraf were shot dead in Prayagraj on Saturday night when they were brought to Motilal Nehru Divisional Hospital (Calvin Hospital) for medical examination.

 

Let us tell you that the three assailants who shot Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf Ahmed on the night of April 15 were shifted from Prayagraj's Naini Central Jail to Pratapgarh District Jail on Monday.

 

Official sources said, "The three shooters Arun Maurya, Sunny Singh, and Lavlesh Tiwari are under threat of attack behind bars, due to which they have been shifted to high-security cell and kept under CCTV surveillance.

 

Meanwhile, other prisoners present in the barrack have been shifted to other barracks as it is believed that keeping them with other prisoners could be risky, the sources said.

 

Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf Ahmed were shot dead on Saturday night by people posing as media persons while they were being taken for a medical check-up in Prayagraj. Both the miscreants fell on the spot after being shot from near point-blank range.
