Diljit Dosanjh is making headlines for his upcoming film Border 2. Recently, his film Sardaar Ji 3 was released, in which questions were raised on the casting of Pakistani actress Hania Aamir. He is being badly trolled for this. Meanwhile, the Federation of Western India Cinema Employees (FWICE) protested against his casting in Border 2.

It was being said that FWICE has banned Diljit Dosanjh, and he has been cut from Border 2, but yesterday the actor shared his video from the set of the film and dismissed all the rumors. Meanwhile, the latest statement of FWICE has come out, in which it has been revealed that the Federation has lifted the ban on Diljit only for Border 2.

FWICE lifts ban on Diljit Dosanjh

Yes, FWICE banned Diljit Dosanjh after the casting of Hania Aamir in Sardaar Ji 3, but Border 2 producer Bhushan Kumar personally requested the federation to allow Diljit to work in the film. In a conversation with India Today, FWICE President BN Tiwari said-

"Bhushan Kumar requested him to allow Diljit to shoot."

Ashok Pandit's anger erupted.

Bhushan Kumar has promised FWICE that he will allow Diljit to work only in Border 2, after which he will not cast him in any other film. Diljit has agreed to this condition. On the other hand, FWICE member Ashok Pandit has expressed his disagreement. He says that the federation will not be responsible for any loss after this.

Border 2 release date

Diljit Dosanjh is playing the role of an army officer in Border 2. The Anurag Singh-directed film also stars Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, and Suniel Shetty's son Ahan Shetty. The film will release in theatres on January 23 next year.
