Party sources say that there seems to be a consensus that Bhagwant Mann's name should be announced as the CM face. Bhagwant Mann is an MP from the Sangrur seat and is also the state president of the party.
The Congress party has made Charanjit Singh Channi the CM after the resignation of Captain Amarinder Singh at the end of last year. But till now the Congress is avoiding announcing that even after the elections, Channi will be the CM or a new leader will be given the command.
