The India Jodo Yatra of Congress, under the leadership of MP Rahul Gandhi, resumed this morning from Hyderabad, the capital of Telangana. Film actress and producer Pooja Bhatt also briefly attended the yatra. Former Maharashtra minister Nitin Raut, who was reportedly injured after being hit by the police during his visit to Hyderabad, has been admitted to the hospital.

Today is the 56th day of India Jodo Yatra. It has been touring in Telangana for the past week. Earlier, actress Poonam Kaur also attended the yatra with Rahul Gandhi. A picture of Rahul Gandhi and Poonam Kaur also went viral, in which both were seen holding each other's hands. Politics was heated about this picture. Sharing the picture, Karnataka BJP leader Preeti Gandhi wrote, "Following in the footsteps of my great-grandfather!" Preeti Gandhi was severely criticized for this tweet.

Former Maharashtra minister Nitin Raut has been injured by police in Hyderabad during Bharat Jodo Yatra. He has been admitted to Vasavi Hospital in Hyderabad. He has suffered injuries in one eye and hand and leg.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi hoisted the tricolor in front of the Char Minar, the identity of Hyderabad, on Tuesday. About 32 years ago, his father and then-party president Rajiv Gandhi also started the 'Sadbhavna Yatra' from the same place. Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh, senior party leader Digvijaya Singh, and Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president Revanth Reddy were also present when Rahul Gandhi unfurled the national flag. Rahul Gandhi reached Charminar amid slogans of 'Bharat Jodo' and a crowd standing on the roadside. During this, a large number of workers with party flags were present on the roads leading to Charminar.

On this occasion, Rahul Gandhi paid tribute to his father Rajiv Gandhi by paying floral tributes to him on the stage. Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh told that his father Rajiv Gandhi started the 'Sadbhavna Yatra' on October 19, 1990, from the place where Rahul Gandhi had hoisted the tricolor. He said that every year Congress hoists the tricolor here on that day. Ramesh said that this time on October 19, we could not hoist the tricolor here, so the national flag was hoisted on Tuesday.

Bharat Jodi Yatra started from Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu on 7th September 2022. It has reached Telangana passing through Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh. This 150-day-long journey will end in Jammu and Kashmir.
