A day after the lockdown restrictions were further relaxed in the capital Delhi, there has been a big drop in the graph of corona infection today. In the last 24 hours, only 131 new cases were reported and 16 patients lost the battle for life. Now the infection rate has come down to 0.22 percent. Earlier this year on February 22, 128 cases of the corona were reported in Delhi. The death toll in the last 24 hours due to infection is also the lowest since April 5, when 15 people died here due to Covid-19.

 

According to the information given in the Health Bulletin of the Health Department, the lowest number of 131 new cases of Covid-19 were reported in Delhi on Monday since February 22 and 16 patients died. Here the infection rate has come down to 0.22 percent.

 

With new cases, the total number of infected people has gone up to 14,31,270, while the death toll from this disease has gone up to 24,839. In the last 24 hours, 355 people recovered and returned to their homes, while on Sunday their number was 376. So far 14,03,205 people have become corona-free in Delhi. There are 3226 active cases in Delhi and the number of containment zones has come down to 6714.

 

During the last 24 hours in Delhi, 59,556 people were tested for corona, out of which 59,425 reports came negative and the remaining 131 people were confirmed to be infected. So far 2.03 crore people have been corona tested here.

 

The Delhi government on Sunday announced a partial relaxation on restaurants and weekly markets from June 14, due to the Corona situation being controlled and the infection rate being less than one percent for two consecutive weeks.

 

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had said that the situation related to Covid-19 in Delhi has improved a lot and new cases of infection have come down, because of this, the process of unlocking is being expanded in the capital from Monday to bring Delhi's economy back on track. Used to be. He also said that if the cases increase, the restrictions will be imposed again.
