96 percent of the party's permanent members are white. A recent YouGov poll by the Conservative Party gives Truss a 28 percent lead over Sunak. Truss got 58 percent while Sunak got only 30 percent votes. Sunak seems to be lagging in support of the party's permanent members. Sunak's image became that of Johnson's throne grabber
