Paresh Rawal did not get the script of Hera Pheri 3, Akshay Kumar does not have the rights?

Hera Pheri 3 is one of the most anticipated films to date which has been in the news since its announcement. But ever since Paresh Rawal has taken an exit from the film, the matter has heated up.

 

Paresh Rawal took an exit from the film even before the promo of Hera Pheri 3 was shot, after which news came that actor Akshay Kumar has sent him a legal notice and filed a case of Rs 25 crore.

As soon as the matter started gaining momentum, Paresh Rawal revealed through an ex-post that soon his lawyer will give his answer in this matter and finally now his lawyer has made a shocking revelation on the Hera Pheri 3 controversy.

 

Paresh Rawal did not get the script.

 

According to Times of India, Paresh Rawal's lawyer says that in March this year, Akshay Kumar gave the actor a paper to sign for Hera Pheri 3 on the sets of Bhoot Bangla and said that the full agreement would come later. Since Paresh did not get any script, he was in suspense.

 

According to the lawyer, Akshay Kumar assured Paresh, "Akshay told him, 'Don't worry, trust me. You will see it in a long-form agreement later.' With his rapport and trust with Akshay, Paresh Rawal signed the term sheet."

 

The promo was to be shot in April.

The promotional video of Hera Pheri 3 was to be shot in April. When Paresh Rawal was told about this, he again asked Akshay Kumar about the script, production plan and long term agreement but once again he insisted that he needed to shoot the promo before the IPL final.

 

This promo was to be shot on the sets of Bhoot Bangla. Paresh had also talked about postponing it till next year. Paresh Rawal wanted to get all the clarity before playing this character again and moving forward.

 

Akshay Kumar also got a legal notice.

 

According to a report, Akshay Kumar had bought the rights to Hera Pheri 3, but the latest report is saying that producer Firoz Nadiadwala still has the rights of the Hera Pheri franchise and he had reportedly sent a legal notice to Akshay Kumar, Priyadarshan, Sunil Shetty and Paresh Rawal. In the notice, they were asked not to shoot promos etc. related to this franchise.
