Which children will get help under the scheme?

The PM Cares for Children Scheme (PMCCS) was first announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 29 May 2021. Under this, help is to be provided to those children whose both parents or legal guardians have died due to the coronavirus epidemic. The cutoff date fixed by the Modi government to decide the beneficiaries of this scheme was from 11 March 2020 to 29 May 2023.
