A low-intensity explosion took place on Tuesday evening in the area between the house (Nanda House) on plot no. 4 on Prithviraj Road and the Central Hindi Training Institute on plot no. 2A.

Police are investigating for route mapping of the suspects, who were seen walking on the road near the site shortly before the blast. Police sources said that during this period about five thousand phone numbers were active in the area. Police had received information about the blast, but officials said nothing of the sort was found at the scene. Earlier, the police had received a letter addressed to the ambassador near the embassy on Tuesday evening in connection with the blast call. Threatening words were used in this. The name of the group written on the letter is Sir Allah Resistance.
After this, at around 6 pm, the police reached the spot along with fire services and bomb disposal squad. Experts from the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team also reached the spot. ASI Mahavir, posted in PCR, had called the police control room after hearing the sound of the explosion near the embassy. PCR was patrolling the area.
