
New Delhi With the surge in new cases of coronavirus, the situation is becoming worrisome. New cases of infection are making daily records. On the other hand, for the safety of students and teachers, the Ministry of Education has decided to postpone the CBSE board examinations. The 10th-grade board exams have been canceled and the 12th class board examinations have been postponed. The result of class 10th will be prepared based on the criteria prepared by the board. The 12th-grade examinations will be later, with the board reviewing the situation on 1 June. Earlier, several states including Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Punjab, and Maharashtra have postponed the board exams of class 10th and class 12th.
Maharashtra
Maharashtra Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad announced the postponement of the board examinations, saying that we are closely monitoring the health status. He said that the Class 12th exams would be conducted by the end of May, while the 10th class exams would be held in June. The dates for these exams will be announced afresh.
Punjab
Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has postponed the examinations of class 10th and class 12th because of the increasing cases of the corona. The board has released the revised date sheet on its official website pseb.ac.in.
Chhattisgarh
The government led by Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Sunday decided to cancel the Class 10 board examination. The class 10th examination was scheduled to be held from April 15 to May 1. However, no changes have been made in the Class 12 exams, which begin on May 3 and end on May 24.
Uttar Pradesh
The Uttar Pradesh Medium Education Council (UPMSP) has revised the dates of the board exams for classes 10th and 12th. As per the revised UP board timetable 2021, the class 10th examination will be conducted between May 8 to May 25, 2021, in two shifts. The morning shift examinations will be conducted from 8 am to 11:15 am and the afternoon exam from 2 pm to 5:15 pm.
Delhi

Madhya Pradesh
