Champions Trophy 2025: Former Pakistani cricketer targeted ICC, said- they will do whatever Jay Shah says

Former Pakistan cricket team cricketer Basit Ali has recently made a big statement about India's dominance in the International Cricket Council (ICC).

The former Pakistan legend criticized the BCCI during this time and alleged that India's influence in the ICC is so much that it can do whatever it wants and ignore the opinion of the rest of the ICC member countries.

Basit Ali targeted BCCI over India's dominance in ICC.

The Champions Trophy 2025 is to be held in Pakistan in the month of February-March next year. Before this tournament, the PCB was in a difficult situation, as the Indian team refused to tour Pakistan.

The BCCI is not in favor of India's tour of Pakistan given the political relationship between India and Pakistan. At the same time, the BCCI has talked to the ICC about organizing the Champions Trophy 2025 in a hybrid model.

Meanwhile, amid the ongoing debate over hosting the Champions Trophy, Pakistan legend Basit Ali criticized the BCCI while talking on his YouTube channel.

'BCCI has money, so all boards listen to them'

Basit also said in his statement that BCCI has money, due to which every board is ready to speak in their favor. He said that if he says that the Champions Trophy will be held in Pakistan, they will agree. If he says that it will be a hybrid model, they will also go with it. This is because when their players play in the IPL, the BCCI pays huge amounts to their boards, be it the English board, the New Zealand board, the West Indies board, or the Australian board.
