Caliber Mining Share Listing: Investors Earn ₹39,200 Profit on Debut; Stock Delivers Strong Listing Gains

Caliber Mining Share Listing: Shares of Caliber Mining and Logistics, a coal mining and logistics company, made an impressive debut on the stock market on July 24, listing at ₹504 on the BSE, an 18.87% premium over its IPO issue price of ₹424. The stock later closed at ₹500, still delivering a 17.98% listing gain and rewarding IPO investors with healthy returns.

The strong listing translated into attractive gains for investors. Retail investors allotted one lot (35 shares) booked a profit of ₹2,800 on an investment of ₹14,840. High Net-Worth Individuals (HNIs), who received 14 lots (490 shares), earned ₹39,200 in listing gains on an investment of ₹2,07,760.

 

GMP Correctly Indicated a Strong Debut

 

The Grey Market Premium (GMP) before listing stood at around ₹80 per share, indicating an expected premium of 18–19%, which closely matched the actual listing performance. During the IPO subscription period, the GMP had climbed as high as ₹115–₹120, reflecting strong investor optimism.

 

IPO Subscribed 146.64 Times

 

Caliber Mining and Logistics received an overwhelming response from investors, with the IPO being subscribed 146.64 times overall. The issue attracted nearly 38.45 lakh applications and bids worth approximately ₹48,720 crore.

 

QIB Subscription: 240.71 times

NII Subscription: 267.36 times

Retail Subscription: 41.15 times

 

The strong subscription highlighted robust demand from institutional as well as retail investors.
