In the case of a breach in the security of Parliament, the Delhi Police Special Cell on Saturday went inside the Parliament House in a very confidential manner and recreated the crime scene.

By doing a recreation, an attempt was made to find out how the accused entered inside after getting the security check done and committed the crime after sitting in the audience gallery for some time.

Why is there recreation of the crime scene?

It is a part of the investigation of the case which is included as evidence in the case. According to headquarters sources, the investigation committee headed by DG CRPF recreated the crime scene. During this time, many IG rank officers and Joint CP rank officers of security were present on the spot.

During the recreation, all the security personnel present in the Parliament were asked to remain deployed at their respective places. The officers of the investigation team were made accused Sagar Sharma and Manoranjan Gaur.

The accused were not taken there. According to sources, the Special Cell has also recorded the statements of the security personnel deployed for the security of the Parliament on the day of the incident. Besides, the testing equipment installed in the Parliament security was also examined. The investigating agency will soon record the statements of eight security personnel suspended from Parliament security.
