The CBI has been investigating the Sushant Singh Rajput death case for the last 9 days. The main accused in the case, Sushant's girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, was questioned by the CBI for 10 hours on Friday. But in the meantime, the big news is that the CBI is considering to conduct a polygraph test of Rhea Chakraborty to reveal the truth of the Sushant Singh death case. If sources are to be believed, if the case of Sushant Singh's death is not resolved by interrogation, then the investigating agency can conduct a polygraph test of Rhea Chakraborty and other main suspects.
If media reports are to be believed, Rhea Chakraborty will be questioned by CBI today. After one or two more inquiries, the CBI is set to conduct a polygraph test of Rhea Chakraborty. However, there has been no response from the CBI so far. Explain that CBI will have to take permission from the court for this.
If sources are to be believed, apart from Rhea Chakraborty and her family, Sushant's flatmate and friends Siddharth Pithani and Cook Neeraj may also have a polygraph test. Significantly, in the case of Sushant Rajput's death, the CBI will interrogate Rhea Chakraborty for the second consecutive day and showered questions.
What is this test
The polygraph is known as the lie detection test or lie-catching test. In this, a series of questions are asked to the suspect during the physical changes such as blood pressure, pulse, respiratory, and skin changes.
Rhea questioned for the first time
Actress Rhea Chakraborty, accused of abetting Sushant Singh Rajput to suicide, was questioned here for more than 10 hours on Friday. Rhea, who first appeared before the CBI, left the DRDO guest house in Santa Cruz after 9 pm. Earlier, Rhea left for the guest's house at around 10.40 am, where the CBI team is staying.
CBI investigation for eight days
The CBI team is in the city for the last eight days to investigate the Sushant death case. While he questioned Rhea on Friday, on Thursday, he recorded the statement of Rhea's brother Shouvik Chakraborty.
Whom to inquire and whose statements were recorded
The CBI has so far questioned many people including Siddharth Pithani, to cook Neeraj Singh and domestic help Dipesh Sawant. The CBI has also recorded statements of Sushant Rajput's chartered accountant Sandeep Sridhar and accountant Rajat Mewati.
Significantly, before taking over the investigation of the CBI case, Mumbai Police had recorded the statement of Rhea Chakraborty in connection with Rajput suicide. Significantly, the body of 34-year-old actor Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging in his flat in Bandra on June 14.
