Apart from this, the first dose was given to 3 crore 41 lakh 6 thousand 71 over 60 years of age and the second dose was given to 8 lakh 12 thousand 237, while 1 crore 94 lakh 82 thousand 464 beneficiaries above 45 years of age were given the first and 3 lakh 85 thousand. 527 beneficiaries were given the second dose. Of the total vaccines imposed so far, 60 percent of the doses have been given in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, and Kerala.

After this, 76 lakh 89 thousand 507 vaccines have been installed in Gujarat, 72 lakh 99 thousand 305 in Rajasthan, 71 lakh 98 thousand 372 in Uttar Pradesh, and 65 lakh 41 thousand 370 vaccines in West Bengal.

The ministry said that investigations conducted to confirm Covid in the country have crossed the 25 crore mark and the overall rate of infection has increased marginally to 5.07 percent.
