Now IIT and NSDC are allowing me to study data science and machine learning certificate along with a job and studies sitting at home. The Data Science Certificate course will be of six months, while the Machine Learning Advance Certificate course will be of nine months. After completing both these certificate courses, the name of IIT Mandi and National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) will be on the certificate.
The selection eligibility test for admission to this certificate course will be held on October 15 and 16. While the classes for both certificate courses will start from the first week of November. The objective of this program is to provide students with expertise in Machine Learning (ML) with Python to build a strong foundation in Data Science and for data-driven decision-making.
Professor Tushar Jain, Professor at IIT Mandi and Head of the Center for Continuing Education (CCE), informed us that the course will be conducted by the faculty of IIT online i.e. live streaming sessions. A joint certificate will be issued upon completion of the course.
The demand for data science and machine learning specialists is growing rapidly. Offered by IIT Mandi and NSDC, this certificate course has been designed to provide skills that are in demand by industries across the globe. The youth will get a chance to do certificate courses in Data Science and Machine Learning on the lines of BTech from IITs.
Build a Future as a Data Scientist, Business Intelligence & Consultant: This course will provide students with expertise in Machine Learning with Python to build a strong foundation in Data Science and make data-driven decision-making. Apart from the faculty of IIT, industry experts will take online classes in the study of these courses. This course is industry-recognized in Data Science and Business Intelligence. Students enrolling in this course will get placement and career guidance along with their studies. The special thing is that one mentorship i.e. one teacher will be available to one student.
