How Akhilesh's political future can change with Mulayam's death, the focus will have to be on not only Lucknow but Delhi too

After the death of Samajwadi Party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav, the party's national president Akhilesh Yadav can make some changes in his political future strategy. After seeing the defeat in the UP assembly elections, Akhilesh Yadav resigned as an MP from Azamgarh and turned his entire focus toward the politics of the state. But now after the death of his father, there will be pressure on Akhilesh to give a big leader from the party's side in Delhi, so that the SP remains on the table of Delhi's politics. In such a situation, political experts believe that either Akhilesh himself or some other face of the family can contest Mulayam's Mainpuri seat.

Akhilesh broke the image of politics from the AC room

In the assembly elections held this year, there was a direct contest between the Samajwadi Party and the BJP. Both parties contested the elections with all their heart. Before the results came out, many experts were claiming victory for the SP, but when the results were declared, the BJP once again won. Experts started saying that since Akhilesh does AC room politics and entered the field just before the elections, this was also one of the reasons for the SP's defeat. In such a situation, if he wants to shape the future of SP, then instead of Delhi, he will have to return to Lucknow. Akhilesh, who won the assembly election from the Karhal seat, finally did the same and returned to Lucknow. He became the leader of the SP Legislature Party and the Leader of the Opposition in the Assembly. During the second term of Yogi Adityanath, Akhilesh was seen attacking many times in the assembly and fiercely opposed the government on various issues. Akhilesh made his presence felt fiercely from the road to the assembly. In such a situation, he was able to break that image within a few months, and he was accused of doing AC room politics.

Now after Mulayam's death will he return to Delhi or...?

Now when Mulayam breathed his last at Medanta Hospital in Gurugram, Akhilesh looked quite inconsolable. During the funeral in Saifai, tears were seen in his eyes many times and he remained near his father's funeral pyre throughout the night. The next day when Uncle Shivpal put his hand on his shoulder, he wept bitterly. In this environment, Akhilesh may not be thinking about future politics right now, but, indeed, there is not much time left in the next Lok Sabha elections. The elections to be held in the year 2024 are going to be the real test for the SP. For the first time, Akhilesh Yadav will enter the electoral fray without the shadow of his father. In such a situation, how much power you can show alone, everyone's eyes will also be on it. At the same time, Akhilesh will brainstorm on whether he should do politics by staying in Lucknow in the future or he should return to Delhi and fill the shortage of Mulayam Singh Yadav. Although the option of sending any other big leader of the party to Delhi will be open to him, how much that leader will be able to fill Mulayam's shortfall, will be to be seen. It is known that Mulayam was a Member of Parliament many times and also reached a big position like Defense Minister. Even though Mulayam missed becoming the Prime Minister, in all parties including Congress, and BJP, he continued to speak for decades. In such a situation, now that he has passed away, the pressure will be on Akhilesh Yadav that how he makes a future strategy so that the threat of SP returns in UP and the party gets a big face in Delhi also.

Akhilesh can send these faces to Delhi if he does not go himself

By-polls will be held on the vacant Mainpuri seat in the next few months, which will reveal Akhilesh's strategy. It is possible that instead of going from Mainpuri himself now, Akhilesh can field another member of the family in the electoral fray. Apart from Akhilesh, there are many big names like former MP and his wife Dimple Yadav, Dharmendra Yadav, who can get a ticket for the Mainpuri seat in the coming days. Dharmendra Yadav was also fielded from the Azamgarh seat, but he was defeated there. At the same time, after the death of Mulayam, discussions started going on about uncle Shivpal, who was seen with Akhilesh many times. When he was asked whether he would contest the Lok Sabha elections from Mainpuri, he did not give any direct answer. However, due to his proximity to the BJP and Yogi Adityanath, there is less chance that Akhilesh will be able to reaffirm his faith in him and field him from Mainpuri to fill his father's shortage.
