
Hyderabad, Jan 19 (IANS) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is leaving for Davos Tuesday to participate in the annual summit of World Economic Forum (WEF).
Naidu, chosen as a special invitee for the summit by WEF president Klaus Schwab, will be a special guest at WEF event on the "Future of urban development". He will be attending the session along with ministers of other countries and CEOs, said a statement from his office.
He has also been invited by the Japanese delegation as the special guest for a session on "Vision for tomorrow, Japan: Learning for structural challenges". He will also be part of the "Japan Night" session.
Apart from being part of bilateral meetings with industrialists, businessmen and experts from various fields, the government of Andhra Pradesh will also organize "AP investment session".
The delegation from Andhra Pradesh includes Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, AP Special Representative in Delhi K. Ramamohan Rao and other officials.
Naidu is no stranger to WEF. He had attended the summit as the chief minister of united Andhra Pradesh and had impressed foreign delegates and participants with his vision for the state.
This time, he is attending the summit as the chief minister of new state of Andhra Pradesh.
