Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath showered flowers on the Kanwariyas from a helicopter on the second Monday of Sawan. During this, CM Yogi also inspected the Kanwar route. Chief Minister Yogi's helicopter passed over the Chowk via Rampur Tiraha of Muzaffarnagar from Haridwar Highway. The helicopter left for NCR while showering flowers at Sewaya Toll Plaza, Aughadnath Temple in Meerut. During this, CM Yogi also inspected the entire Mahadev of Baghpat. Seeing the flowers falling from the sky, the devotees of Shiva shook their hands and greeted them. Flowers were showered on Shiva devotees at Khatauli bypass of Muzaffarnagar. A different view was seen during the flower showers in the entire area.

On his return from a two-day visit to Delhi on Monday, the Chief Minister took stock of the Kanwar Yatra in western Uttar Pradesh by helicopter and also showered flowers on the Kanwariyas.
