So far many people have been arrested from Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and other states. Apart from this, the houses and shops of the accused involved in the violence in MP have also been demolished.

A senior IPS officer said that in the last one week people have either left their homes and shops and started living elsewhere in Karauli itself or have moved to other places by locking them. Efforts are being made to bring these people back. Those who migrated include people from Jatav, Khatik, Dhobi, and Kumawat communities. BJP Yuva Morcha National President Tejashwi Surya and State BJP President Satish Poonia will go to Karauli on Wednesday.
