
Voting is underway for by-elections to one Lok Sabha and one assembly seat in West Bengal. During this, there was a scuffle with the security personnel of BJP candidate Agnimitra Paul in booth number 175 of Kapishta of Jamgram, Barabani, Asansol. The BJP candidate was somehow pulled out by the security forces. The windshield of a vehicle running with the BJP candidate was broken due to stone pelting on vehicles. Security personnel has been injured in this incident. Agnimitra Paul has accused TMC supporters. BJP candidate Agnimitra Paul said that Trinamool people attacked us, the vehicle was attacked, and our people were injured. Trinamool is scared that's why it is doing all this and the administration has become a mute spectator. My security guard has also been attacked.
On the other hand, voting in Ballygunge Assembly (Vis) by-election is going on very slowly. According to the information received from the Central Election Commission, only eight percent of voting has been done till 9 am, whereas till this time 12.77 percent of voting has been done in the Asansol Lok Sabha by-election. With the commencement of voting for the Ballygunge Assembly seat on Tuesday morning, sporadic incidents began. In Jagbandhu High School, Ballygunge, there was a delay in the start of voting due to a fault in the electronic voting machine, while the Trinamool Congress has been accused of not allowing a BJP agent to sit in the booth at Ashok Hall.
Asansol voter turnout was 12.77 percent in two hours
Voting for the Asansol Lok Sabha by-election began on Tuesday. Webcasting is being done in 100% of the polling stations. 23 polling stations have been declared sensitive. 40 micro observers have been appointed here.

In this, voters of seven assembly constituencies Asansol South, Asansol North, Kulti, Raniganj, Jamudia, Pandaveshwar, and Barabani will vote for the eight candidates of Asansol Lok Sabha seat for the Asansol Lok Sabha seat and imprison their fate in EVMs. 2102 booths have been made for the polling to be held amidst tight security arrangements. Where 17 lakh 36 thousand 475 voters will exercise their franchise.
