
Corona has become deadly again in Punjab. A corona patient died in Mansa. At the same time, in Faridkot, a patient had to be kept on a ventilator. Apart from this, 2 patients have been kept on oxygen support. Due to this the death toll may increase in the coming days. This is the fifth death in Punjab in the last one and a half months. Earlier, patients have died in Moga, Ludhiana, Gurdaspur, and Kapurthala.
Decrease in new cases
There is a decrease in new cases of corona in Punjab. 10 new patients were found on Sunday. Of which 4 patients have been found 2-2 in Mohali, Bathinda, and Ludhiana, 1-1 in Gurdaspur and Mansa. In Punjab, 12,311 were tested on Sunday by taking 12,423 samples.
Most active cases in Mohali
The number of active patients in Punjab has come down to 115. A maximum of 42 active cases are in Mohali. There are 15 active cases in Ludhiana, 12 in Amritsar, 9 in Bathinda, and 8 in Patiala. In most of the other districts, less than 5 active patients are left.
More than one thousand patients were found in 52 days
In the last 52 days, 1,113 patients have been found in Punjab. Of these, 5 people have died. Out of these, 1,072 patients have been cured and discharged.
