Corona explosion: Telangana CM K. Chandrashekhar Rao Corona Positive, 60 more people infected

Telangana CM K. Chandrashekhar Rao has become corona positive. Earlier, he also attended a rally on 14 April, in which a large number of people gathered. CM was involved in the rally organized for the by-election for the Nagarjuna assembly seat. 60 other people involved in this rally have also been found to be Corona positive. KCR's Telangana Rashtra Samithi Party candidate Nomula Bhagat and his family are also among these infected. Apart from this, many other senior leaders have also been corona infected. Voting was held on Nagarjuna seat on 17 April, for which a rally of 1 lakh people was gathered.

 

Chief Minister K.K. Chandrashekhar Rao had experienced minor symptoms of the corona, such as fever and body aches. He then underwent an RTPCR test and was found to be corona infected. Doctors Chandrashekhar  Rao is advised to stay in home isolation. Apart from this, his staff has been advised to undergo tests and stay in Quarantine. Meanwhile, CM K. Chandrashekhar Rao has announced a night curfew in the state till 30 April. Night curfew will remain in force throughout the state from 9 am to 5 am.

In the order issued by the state government, during this time, all offices, firms, shops, restaurants, and other institutions in the state will remain closed. All these institutions will be closed at 8 p.m. However, other essential services including hospitals, labs will continue to operate. This decision by the state government has been taken after the rebuke imposed by the High Court on Monday.

The High Court had said on Monday that why the government is so careless about dealing with the corona infection. Not only this, the court gave 48 hours to the government for any decision like night curfew or lockdown. Not only this, the High Court had said that if no decision is taken by the state government, then it will have to issue an order.
