Major revelation in Rohit Shetty's house firing case: entire conspiracy hatched from jail, links to Bishnoi gang

The Mumbai Crime Branch is continuing its investigation into the firing incident at the Juhu residence of Bollywood's leading producer-director, Rohit Shetty. The Crime Branch has now achieved a major breakthrough in this case. The investigation has revealed that the attack was planned by Shubham Lonkar, the Maharashtra head of the Bishnoi gang, and his brother, Praveen Lonkar. Following the attack, Shubham Lonkar claimed responsibility for the attack through a Facebook post.

The attack was plotted from prison!

The investigation has revealed that Praveen Lonkar, currently in jail for the Baba Siddiqui murder case, provided weapons and financial support for the attack on Rohit Shetty. The Crime Branch suspects that Praveen Lonkar established the entire criminal network and plotted the attack from prison. According to the police, 12 accused, including the main shooter, have been arrested from Pune, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh. Praveen Lonkar is currently in judicial custody and will soon be formally taken into police custody in this case.

12 Crime Branch Teams Are Investigating

The investigation has revealed that the motorcycle, pistol, and funds used in the attack were all provided on Praveen Lonkar's instructions. The question arises: how did Praveen Lonkar orchestrate the entire conspiracy from within prison? Who did he use to make these arrangements and relay messages? A senior police officer stated that 12 Crime Branch teams are investigating this case. Once Praveen Lonkar is in custody, the remaining links in the conspiracy and the Bishnoi gang's further plans will be revealed.

Shooting on February 1

At 12:45 a.m. on February 1, at least five shots were fired on the first floor of Rohit Shetty's nine-story building in Juhu.

One bullet struck the glass of a gym inside the building.

Shubham Lonkar, a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, claimed responsibility for the shooting.

Shubham Lonkar is among the wanted accused in this case.

He has reportedly claimed responsibility for the firing at Shetty's residence in a social media post.

Police have invoked stringent sections of the MCOCA (Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act) in the case.
