The Central Government is also keeping an eye on the Serum Institute of India. The staff here is working day and night. Everyday messages are sent to WhatsApp on behalf of the government. The government wants to know if they are having trouble in functioning. According to Umesh Shaligram, head of the company's research development, these messages are usually sent on behalf of PM Modi's Scientist Advisor Vijayaraghavan. Shaligram said, 'Please tell them for any delay. There is no delay in getting clearance for any work. The work that used to take 4-6 months to get the green signal from the government is now being done in a couple of days. Many times the approval is available on Sunday night.

Most vaccines are prepared here

According to Adar Poonawala, CEO of Serum Institute India, 60-70 percent of the world's vaccine is produced here. About 1.5 billion vaccine doses are made here every year. The institute, which is spread over about one hundred acres, is also seen quite moving during lockdown. Poonawala says that along with the vaccine, medicine is also needed to fight the corona. Many times it is seen that the vaccine does not work completely on a patient.
