The work that used to take 4-6 months to get the green signal from the government is now being done in a couple of days. Many times the approval is available on Sunday night.

According to Adar Poonawala, CEO of Serum Institute India, 60-70 percent of the world's vaccine is produced here. About 1.5 billion vaccine doses are made here every year.
