PM Modi salutes Indian scientists on National Technology Day, said- played an important role in the crisis

National Technology Day is being celebrated across the country today. On this special occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has saluted Indian scientists. The PM said that Indian scientists have fought firmly in any challenging situation. The PM said that last year also Indian scientists played an important role in the battle of Corona. Let us know that National Technology Day 1998 marks the anniversary of the nuclear tests held in Pokhran, Rajasthan. The theme of National Technology Day-2021 is "Science and Technology for Sustainable Future".

 

Prime Minister Modi tweeted, 'On National Technology Day, we salute our hard work and perseverance towards our scientists and technology. 'We proudly remember the 1998 Pokhran Test, which demonstrated India's scientific and technological progress. The PM further said that our scientists worked in front of any challenging situation.

 

For information, let us know that after successful nuclear tests in Pokhran in 1998, India became the sixth country to join the Nuclear Club after achieving this feat. India has also successfully test-fired indigenously built Hans-3 aircraft and short-range missile 'Trishul' on this day, which proved to be a record for the country.
