Coronavirus Updates: Corona's speed increased again, with 5443 new cases in 24 hours; 26 people died

Corona cases have increased in the country. The Health Ministry said that a total of 5,443 new cases of corona infection have been reported in the last 24 hours. Let us inform you that yesterday i.e. on September 21, 4,510 cases of the corona were registered. Today 933 cases of corona have increased as compared to yesterday.

Increase in active cases

The number of active patients has also increased in the last 24 hours. According to the report, 5,291 people have recovered from Corona in a day. With this, the number of active patients has increased to 46,342.

26 people died

The ministry said that 26 people have also died due to corona during this period. 12 people have died in the state of Kerala alone. A total of 5 lakh 28 thousand 429 people have died in the country since Covid 19. At the same time, a total of 4 crores 45 lakh 53 thousand 42 cases of corona have been reported so far. Apart from this, 4 crores 39 lakh 78 thousand 271 patients have also been cured.

Active cases are 0.10 percent of the total cases. The recovery rate has gone up to 98.71. The daily positivity rate is 1.61 percent while the weekly positivity rate has gone up to 1.73 percent.

More than 217.11 crore vaccines administered

So far, more than 217.11 crore doses of the corona vaccine have been administered in the country. More than 102.59 crore people have taken the first dose. More than 94.70 crore second doses have been given. More than 19.80 crore people have also received precautionary doses. A total of 15 lakh 85 thousand 343 people have got the vaccine in 24 hours.
