The Delhi High Court has ordered strict adherence to the Kovid protocol in airports and flights. A bench of Acting Chief Justice Vipin Sanghi said that those who do not wear masks at the airport and in the aircraft should be fined heavily. The bench said that the rules should be followed. If someone does not follow the rules, then he should be thrown out of the airport or plane.

A PIL was filed in the Delhi High Court for violation of Kovid rules during air travel, after which the court has issued an order for strict compliance with the rules. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) told the court that the exemption has been given to take off the mask only while eating food in the aircraft.

The court said- airlines should ensure that the order is strictly followed. In such a situation, DGCA should also issue a separate guideline. This guideline should be sent to the airport officials, the staff present in the plane, captains, and pilots. In this, strict action should be taken against those passengers who are violating the hygiene and protocol. Such passengers should be put on the no-fly list.
