Flights canceled, problems for more than 2160 passengers increased

Babatpur (Varanasi). Due to fog, 12 flights going to and from different cities from Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport were canceled on Thursday. Due to this, more than 2160 passengers have to face problems. Many flights were delayed and some were diverted to other cities. Due to this the passengers and their families had to face problems. Angry passengers and their family members also created a ruckus in the terminal building.

 

The simultaneous cancellation and delay of flights resulted in the crowding of passengers in the terminal building. Many passengers were seen sitting on the ground outside the terminal building. Troubled passengers tried to get information about the flight from the representatives of the airlines, but could not get any success. Angered by this, the passengers started a ruckus. The representatives of the airlines tried to explain, but things did not work out. Seeing the matter escalating, CISF personnel had to be called.

Danapur-Anand Vihar Terminal Jansadharan Express 11 hours, Gorakhpur-LTT Express 10 hours, Anand Vihar Terminal-Danapur 9 hours, LTT-Gorakhpur Weekly Express 6 hours, Howrah-Dehradun Kumbh Express 4.30 hours, Gondia-Barauni Express 4 hours, Pune- Darbhanga Express reached Cantt station late by 3.45 hours, Bahraich-Varanasi City Intercity Express by two hours. Due to late trains, passengers had to wait for hours. Due to this, there was a crowd on the platforms throughout the day.
