COVID Update: Corona cases increased again, 3712 new cases in 24 hours, Mumbai figures started to scare, Uddhav called a meeting

Corona cases have started increasing once again in the country. 3712 new infections have been found in the 24 hours ended Thursday morning. During this five people died of the epidemic. Active cases also increased rapidly to 19,509. CM Uddhav Thackeray has called a meeting today regarding the rising case in Maharashtra. In this, the latest situation will be reviewed.

 

According to the data updated by the Union Health Ministry at 8 am on Thursday, the daily infection rate is currently 0.85 percent. During this, 2584 people have been cured of the epidemic. According to the ministry, there has been an increase of 1123 in the last 24 hours in active cases.

 

On Wednesday, 1,081 new cases of the corona were reported in Maharashtra. Maharashtra has the highest number of single-day cases after 24 February. Metropolis Mumbai has reported the highest number of 739 cases after almost four months. The infection rate in Mumbai has reached 8.4 percent. BMC says that the investigation of Kovid in Mumbai will be expedited, as the positive rate during the test in the city has reached 6 percent. Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope said that more cases of corona are being found in Mumbai, Pune, and Thane. Active cases are 3475. Of these 2500 cases are from Mumbai. There is a need to be careful. Avoid leaving the house unnecessarily. The use of masks should be mandatory.
