The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2022 to be organized by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will be started this month. CBSE has made complete preparations for this. Sources say that work is being done to make arrangements at the examination centers set up by CBSE across the country. After which admit cards will be issued for CTET candidates. CTET exam 2022 is expected to start around 15 December. Significantly, CBSE issued a notification regarding the CTET exam on October 20. After which the application process started on 31st October and continued till 24th November. At this time, due to the open correction window, the candidates who have made mistakes in the application are correcting their applications. Around 30 lakh candidates are likely to appear in the CTET exam starting this month. So it is expected that there will be tough competition in the exam.
Will the normalization system be implemented in CTET this year also?
This exam is being conducted by CBSE online mode from 2021 and due to being conducted in online mode last year this exam lasted for many days. For this reason, the normalization system was implemented in CTET 2021, which was conducted in multiple shifts from 16 December 2021 to 21 January 2022. At the same time, CBSE has not yet given any information regarding the implementation of the system of normalization in CTET to be held this year. But it is expected that to ensure fairness in this examination to be held from December 2022 to January 2023, the normalization system can be adopted this time also. Candidates should keep an eye on the official website of CTET for updates related to it.
How many questions need to be solved to pass
To be successful in CTET, candidates have to answer 60 percent i.e. 90 or more questions correctly. All the candidates who score 60 percent or more in this are considered successful in this examination. It is an eligibility test and the number of posts is not fixed in it. Therefore all the candidates who score more than 60 percentile are considered passed in this exam.
