UGC Chairman Professor M Jagadesh Kumar said that India on Thursday started its G-20 chairmanship journey with the University Connect program by connecting with students of universities across the country. He said that it is wonderful that India has started its G20 Chairmanship journey with University Connect on Thursday by connecting with students of universities across the country. India formally assumed the chairmanship of the G20 on December 1 with a focus on counter-terrorism and unity in dealing with global challenges such as economic slowdown and climate crisis. Speaking on the occasion, the Chairman of the University Grants Commission said that our students would also be the ambassadors of our country, showing the way for rapid, inclusive developmental progress to the G20 members visiting India.
