On Wednesday, the Delhi Pradesh BJP protested in front of the Pakistan High Commission and raised slogans over the incident of demolition of Maharaja Ranjit Singh's statue in Lahore. BJP's Delhi State President Adesh Gupta said that the attackers who damaged the statue of Maharaja Ranjit Singh in Lahore should be arrested.

It is known that a few days ago in Lahore, the statue of Maharaja Ranjit Singh was vandalized by the attackers. Its video is also going viral on social media. A person associated with Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) organization has been accused of vandalizing the statue.

This statue, built outside the Lahore Fort, was unveiled in June 2019. Since then, this is the third incident when this statue has been vandalized. Two more times before this the statue has been damaged. In the latest video of this incident that comes out, a man wearing a white kurta-pajama and a cap is seen.

He is destroying this statue. The man is also raising slogans while attacking the statue. However, the people present there caught the man and handed him over to the police. Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) is a political party of Pakistan. The party was formed in 2015 but was banned last year.
