In view of the increasing cases of corona in Haryana, the government has re-sealed the inter-state borders. Although the focus will be on the Delhi border. Not only this, a High Power Committee has been constituted under the chairmanship of Rajiv Arora, Additional Chief Secretary, Health Department to review the conditions on the border. Arora is also the nodal officer for the corona virus epidemic.

The next decision will be on the report of this committee constituted by Home and Health Minister Anil Vij. On Thursday, Vij had written a letter to Vijay Vardhan, Additional Chief Secretary, Home Department, ordering the sealing of all inter-state borders including Delhi. Following the orders of the Home Minister, the instructions issued by the Home Secretary in the districts were also seen on the border on Friday. No one was allowed to enter Haryana except for vehicles and people connected to essential services.

Meanwhile, Anil Vij has instructed Arora to visit four districts adjacent to Delhi border Gurugram, Faridabad, Jhajjar and Sonipat. Director General of Health Services Haryana Dr. Surajbhan Kamboj is also included in the committee. Apart from the DCs and SPs of these four districts, the Arora committee will also visit the Delhi border in the four districts along with the civil surgeon. A detailed report will be prepared on the positive patients and areas of Corona so far found in these districts.

The fourth phase of the lockdown is till 31 May and Union Home Minister Amit Shah has taken reports from all the Chief Ministers on the issue. The Center will decide what the status of the lockdown will be next, but Haryana is in favor of the fifth phase. Vij has clearly stated that the infection is spreading in the state due to Delhi. In such a situation, the Delhi border will be completely sealed. He said that if Lockdown-5 is applicable, there will be strictness on the border. No common man from Delhi will get an entry in Haryana.

On Thursday, the letter written to the Home Secretary had an impact on the Delhi border. On Friday morning, the police were completely ready for the blockade on Sonepat, Jhajjar, Gurugram and Faridabad borders. No person, except doctors, lawyers, para-medical staff, nurses, health workers, ambulances and sanitation workers, was allowed to enter the border from Delhi to Haryana.

Necessary to save people, business later

"We have nothing to worry about the business relationship between Delhi and Haryana," Vij said. If Haryana is safe, business can also be run. We cannot put the people of Haryana in danger to start a business. First of all, we can save our state, it is our duty as well as religion. The MHA guidelines do not allow interstate movements. We are following the same.

Suggestion to extend the period of Containment Zone to 14 days

The State Government has sent a proposal to the Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan to extend the period of the Containment Zone in the State to 14 days instead of 28 days. The duration of 28 days is very long. If 27 days are completed in a containment zone and a corona case comes out on the 28th, then the rule is that the area will be declared as a containment zone again for 28 days. The Union Health Minister agrees with Haryana's suggestion and has assured them to take a decision after talking to the authorities.

MHA guidelines will apply

Home Minister Anil said on Friday that Haryana will fully comply with the MHA guidelines. Haryana has also complied with every MHA guidelines in the past. That is why we have a lot of control over the corona here.
