In an open letter to the people of the country on the first anniversary of his second term as Prime Minister, PM Modi said that in 2019 the people of India not only voted for our government, but also to take India to new heights and make it a world. Dreamed of making a master. The decisions taken in the last one year went ahead in fulfilling this dream. In the last one year, some decisions were widely discussed and remained in public discussion. Referring to the unanimous decision of the Supreme Court on the Ram temple in Ayodhya, Modi said that it brought a amicable end to the debate going on for centuries. Mentioning the amendment to the Citizenship Act, Modi said that it was an expression of 'India's compassion and sense of inclusiveness'. In the list of other major decisions of his government, Modi said that the post of Chief of Defense Staff was a long-pending reform that increased coordination among the armed forces.

 

The PM said that at the same time India has put forward the preparations for Mission Gaganyaan. Where is Modi 'Empowering the poor, farmers, women and youth remains our priority. All farmers are now included in the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. In just one year, more than Rs 72,000 crore has been deposited in the accounts of more than 9 crore 50 lakh farmers. Modi said that for the better health of 50 crore livestock of the country, a huge campaign of free vaccination is being carried out. He said, 'For the first time in the history of our country, farmers, farm laborers, small shopkeepers and unorganized sector workers have been assured to make provision of regular monthly pension of Rs 3,000 after the age of 60 years'.

 

The Prime Minister said that apart from the facility of availing bank loans, a separate department has also been created for fishermen. He said that several other decisions have been taken to strengthen the fisheries sector, which will promote the blue economy. The PM said that for the timely solution of the problems of the traders, it has been decided to set up the Merchant Welfare Board. Around 7 crore sisters attached to self-help groups are also being given more financial support. Recently, the loan for self-help groups without guarantee has been doubled from 10 lakh to 20 lakh.
