
Notice To Indigo Airlines: There was a case of Indigo preventing a disabled child from boarding the plane due to panic. This incident is from Ranchi Airport. After the matter came to light, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) started an investigation. Regarding the matter today, DGCA said that prima facie Indigo was found to be violating the rules.
DGCA said that the IndiGo staff at Ranchi airport did not treat the passenger properly. Show cause notice has been issued to the company. Let us tell you that on Saturday, 7 May, IndiGo stopped a disabled child from boarding the plane at Ranchi Airport because he was nervous. Since the boy was barred from boarding the airline's Ranchi-Hyderabad flight, his parents also decided not to board the flight.
