Gold Price Today: Gold Becomes ₹21,000 Costlier in 2026

Gold has recorded a substantial rise so far this year. From around ₹1.33 lakh per 10 grams on December 31, 2025, the price has climbed to approximately ₹1.54 lakh, representing an increase of about ₹21,000.

Silver has also gained during the period, rising from around ₹2.30 lakh per kg at the end of 2025 to ₹2.39 lakh currently.

Both metals have witnessed sharp volatility during 2026. Gold earlier touched around ₹1.76 lakh per 10 grams, while silver reached approximately ₹3.86 lakh per kg on January 29.
