Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to visit America next week. His visit is considered very important for both the countries. As the President of America himself has said that everyone wants to meet PM Modi and it is no wonder that the PM is going to be very busy. They will not even have time to breathe. He will be a part of at least a dozen important events. Significantly, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a US visit from June 21-24 at the invitation of US President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden.

It is being told that Prime Minister Modi will be on a visit to America from 21 to 24 June. In honor of PM Modi, US President Joe Biden will give a 21-gun salute on his arrival at the White House. Such an honor will be given to PM Modi for the first time. This is Modi's first state visit.

 

June 21

PM Modi will reach New York on 21 June. He is expected to be received by a group of Indian-Americans at the Andrews Air Force Base here. Later, he will lead the International Day of Yoga event at the United Nations Secretariat. This program is very important for India because it will send a message to the world about Indian traditions.

 

June 22

 

After this, PM Modi will go to Washington on 22 June. There he will be formally welcomed at the White House. It is being said that during this time more than seven thousand people can be present. After this, Modi will hold high-level talks with the US President. Defense and technology and some key agreements are expected to be discussed during the bilateral meetings.

 

Biden and the first lady will host a state dinner in Modi's honor that same evening. More than 100 guests, members of Congress, diplomats, and celebrities are expected to attend the dinner, the people say.

 

On June 22, PM Modi will address the US Congress at the invitation of Congress leaders including Speaker of the House of Representatives Kevin McCarthy and Majority Leader of Parliament Chuck Schumer. He also addressed the US Congress in 2016. He will address there for the second time. During this, PM Modi can interact with some prominent members. Apart from this, there will be a meeting with the CEOs of the top American companies.

 

June 23

PM Modi will attend a lunch hosted by the US State Department on June 23. The luncheon event will be hosted by US Vice President Kamala Harris and Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.

 

PM Modi will then also address an event in Washington organized by the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum, an independent non-profit organization. Top US CEOs and prominent leaders will be present at the event. After this, PM Modi will meet the heads of select business groups in America.

 

On the same day, Prime Minister Modi will address the Indian diaspora at an event at the Ronald Reagan Center in Washington. The participants will include doctors, hoteliers, lawyers, and industrialists of Indian origin.

 

Modi will go on a state visit to Egypt

Modi will later go to Cairo for a state visit to Egypt at the invitation of President Sisi. The invitation was extended to Modi in January when Sisi attended the Republic Day celebrations as the chief guest.
