New Delhi, Feb 21 (IANS) Former journalist Santanu Saikia, an accused in the petroleum ministry document leakage case, said Saturday it was a Rs.10,000 crore scam.

"It's a Rs.10,000 crore scam and it was a cover up," Saikia told reporters outside the Crime Branch office here, while being taken to court.

Saikia, along with with some corporate officials, have been arrested for allegedly leaking the documents and will be produced in the Patiala House court Saturday.
