Draupadi Murmu: 'Yoga brought me out of mental and physical pain', said President Murmu in Odisha

President Draupadi Murmu arrived in Bhubaneswar on Friday on her two-day visit to Odisha, during which she attended the second convocation ceremony of Rama Devi Women's University after offering prayers at the Lingaraj temple. After this, she also attended the foundation day celebrations of the charitable organization, Gyanprabha Mission where she delivered her address.

President Draupadi Murmu in her address said that yoga had helped her when she was in mental and physical pain, while its regular practice can help people achieve success in all walks of life. I am standing here in front of you today and talking to you only because of yoga. He also said that the empowerment of women is the mantra to establish India as Vishwaguru. President Murmu stressed the need for the practice of Yoga, which can help citizens develop spiritually, leading to the overall development of individuals and the nation as a whole.

Yoga acts as a link between soul and divinity: President

Let us tell you that President Murmu lost her two sons, husband, and brother in a very short time before becoming the Governor of Jharkhand in 2015. Murmu appealed to everyone to achieve the larger goal by keeping their body and mind in good shape, saying that yoga acts as a connection between the soul and the divinity. He said that there is a need to strive for purification and spiritual awakening of body, mind, and soul.

 

Though money and other material things are needed for the survival of a human being, the President said that one should not run after materialistic things, but should strive to gain knowledge and focus on spiritual awakening which would lead one to a new life. Will help you reach the top.
