Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Bamrauli Airport at 10.05 am on Wednesday to take a holy dip in Sangam. After this, at around 11 am, he reached DPS helipad in Arail of Maha Kumbh Nagar by helicopter with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. At around 11.30 am, he took a dip in Sangam.

After taking a dip in Triveni, he will perform Ganga Puja with a total of 26 saints including Acharya Mahamandaleshwars of 13 Akharas, the center of faith of crores of Sanatanis of the country. Then he will return to Delhi.
Before the Maha Kumbh, on 13 December 2024, the Prime Minister had prayed for the successful completion of this mega event by performing Ganga Aarti and Puja on the banks of Sangam. He had also come at the beginning and after the Kumbh in the year 2019.
