Earthquake tremors have been felt in Assam's Guwahati and other parts of the North Eastern region. As soon as the earthquake came, people came out of their houses in fear. However, there is no news of any loss of life or property due to the earthquake.

Earthquake tremors have also been felt in Bangladesh in the morning. The intensity of the earthquake has been measured at 4.8 on the Richter scale. The National Center for Seismology gave this information. There was no damage due to the low intensity of the earthquake.
