Amazon Prime Video has told the release date of its Hindi version. Warisu is one of the most successful Tamil films of this year. The Vijay-starrer film was released in theaters on the occasion of Pongal.
Warisu streams today (22 February) in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada on Amazon Prime Video. The Hindi-speaking audience was a bit disappointed when it was announced that it would be released in South Indian languages. However, now Prime Video has revealed that the film will be streamed on the platform in Hindi on March 8. Let me tell you, Holi is on March 8 and it is a great opportunity for the fans to enjoy this film.
Warisu is a family drama
Warisu is a family drama with a dose of action thrown in. Rashmika Mandanna is in the female lead role with Vijay. This is Rashmika's second Tamil film, mainly active in Telugu cinema.
Directed by Vamsi Paidipally, the film stars R Sarathkumar, Prabhu, Jayasudha, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, and Sham in supporting roles. The story of the film revolves around the youngest son of a business magnate, who is made the chairman of the entire conglomerate. This angers his elder brothers.

The film was announced in September 2021 as Thalapathy 66, as it is Vijay's 66th film. The music of the film is given by Thaman S. The film was released worldwide on January 11 this year and grossed around 300 crores.
The release of the Telugu version of the film Varasudu in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana caused controversy, due to which the film was released in Telugu on 14 January to make way for Telugu films Veera Simha Reddy and Waltair Veeraya.
Along with this, Tamil film Thunivu which was released in theaters has already been streamed on Netflix in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi languages. Ajit Kumar played the lead role in this film. It is an action film based on the heist. Boney Kapoor has produced the film.
