Earthquake in Rajasthan Today: Earthquake tremors in Rajasthan's Jaipur, the intensity was measured at 3.8 on the reactor scale

Earthquake tremors were felt in Jaipur, Rajasthan early this morning. An earthquake of 3.8 struck 92 km northwest of Jaipur Rajasthan. According to the National Center for Seismology, the magnitude of this earthquake was 3.8 in the morning at around 8.30 am. The central government's nodal agency for earthquake monitoring said that the epicenter of the seismic event was 92 km northwest of Jaipur and at a depth of 5 km. No damage has been reported so far due to the earthquake.

 

It is known that tremors of the earthquake have been felt in Jaipur, Rajasthan [today] on Friday. According to the National Center for Seismology, an earthquake of 3.8 magnitudes has occurred 92 km northwest of Rajasthan at around 8.01 am. The central government's nodal agency for earthquake monitoring said that the epicenter of the seismic event was 92 km northwest of Jaipur and at a depth of 5 km. It is known that no loss of life or property has been reported in this earthquake so far.

 

965 minor and major earthquakes in the country in the last year

 

According to the information, this year there have been mild tremors of an earthquake in many other places, but due to its low intensity, no major damage has been reported from anywhere. According to the data of the National Center for Seismology, a total of 965 minor and major earthquakes have been recorded in the country between January 1, 2020, and December 31, 2020. But there was no major devastation due to the decrease in the intensity of all these earthquakes.

 

The earthquake also occurred in Uttarakhand

 

It is to be known that on the morning of February 12, an earthquake of 4.1 magnitudes occurred in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand. It is known that the earthquake occurred at around 5.03 am in the Tehri Garhwal area, 39 km east of Uttarkashi. However, there was no report of any loss of life or property due to the earthquake.

 

Earthquake tremors in Jammu and Kashmir

 

It is known that a few days ago there was an earthquake in Katra, Jammu, and Kashmir. However, this earthquake was not of great intensity. According to the National Center for Seismology, the earthquake occurred at around 3.02 am and the earthquake was 84 km east of Katra in Jammu and Kashmir with a magnitude of 3.5. There was no news of any casualty or damage of any kind due to this earthquake.

 

At the same time, on February 5, strong tremors of earthquake were felt in Jammu and Kashmir at around 9.45 am, whose intensity was much higher than these two. Its intensity was measured at 5.7 on the Richter scale. It may be known that Prime Minister Narendra Modi also spoke to Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha over the phone to take stock of the earthquake situation in the Union Territory. The epicenter of this earthquake was near the Afghanistan-Tajikistan border, due to which very strong tremors were felt in Jammu and Kashmir.
