Patna, Feb 8 (IANS) A 75-year-old woman was allegedly raped by a 21-year-old man at a village in Bihar, police Sunday said.
The incident took place Saturday night in Madhubani district's Sugauna village.
The woman was alone in her home when Balram Mandal raped her, Rajnagar police station chief Satendra Kumar Gupta told IANS.
Gupta said the woman was sent for medical examination.
The police officer said Mandal, fearing threat to his life, surrendered at a police station Sunday.
Mandal confessed his crime to police, Gupta added.
